Abstract
Carotid artery puncture is the most common complication of internal jugular vein catheterization. However, arteriovenous fistula between carotid artery and internal jugular vein has been rarely reported. Here we report a patient who developed arteriovenous fistula following inadvertent carotid artery puncture, while undergoing liver transplantation. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2007; 52: 487¡90)
